The Waterfront is a self catering apartment in Fort William with a wonderful lochside setting, only minutes from the town centre. Our apartment is set in manicured grounds with beautiful views of Loch Linnhe and the surrounding mountains. The majestic landscape can be enjoyed from the comfort of the living room or the private garden. Our cosy holiday apartment is specifically for two people looking for luxury and relaxation. We have done everything we can to make this holiday property as comfortable as possible with quality furnishings and fittings to make your visit to Fort William a memorable and enjoyable one. The accommodation comprises open plan kitchen/breakfast bar with a sitting room which looks out over the loch. The bedroom is large with its own ensuite bathroom and king sized brass bed. The ambience is further enhanced with subtle lighting and solid maple wood flooring. This room has a window which looks out across Loch Linnhe and to the hills beyond. In the afternoons and evening this can be a very sunny room. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view across the Loch. In the summer months, watch vessels large and small sail past the window. A Smart TV/DVD and free unlimited Wi-Fi, Internet access are all part of the facilities here at The Waterfront. About the neighbourhood

Fort William is located in an area called Lochaber, which is in the Highlands of Scotland. The Waterfront is found 1.5 miles south of the centre of Fort William and overlooks Loch Linnhe, a sea loch with a tidal change each day and is used by coastal shipping and even cruise liners which visit Fort William a number of times a year. Across the loch are the mountains of Moidart. A short distance away is the highest mountain in Britain (Ben Nevis locally called The Ben). The area around Fort William is known for its many fine walks, scenery and as a film location for films such as Highlander, Braveheart, Kidnapped, Skyfall and of course Harry Potter and others. Fort William is also known as 'The Outdoor Capital of the UK'.

Getting around

Long distance coaches travel past and can stop close to our location. Local buses operate around Fort William and the surrounding areas. These also stop at the bus stop approximately 250 yards to the right outside the apartments. All local taxi firms will come to The Waterfront to pick up our guests.
