The Retreat is a modern one-bedroom self catering apartment, sleeping 2 people, attached to Strathspey House, an elegant Edwardian house.The Retreat is ideally located behind Strathspey House on Aviemore's main street. The many amenities which Aviemore has to offer are within easy walking distance.

The Retreat has a bright and modern lounge area with a quality leather sofa and luxury reclining leather armchair, AGA woodburning stove, LCD Digital TV, DVD and mini Hi-Fi system. Just off the well equipped kitchen is a small dining area.

The comfortable and generous bedroom truly is a retreat at night with a king size double bed and ample solid wooden furniture.

The fully tiled shower room has sink, electric power shower and a separate WC room off.

Aviemore is very accessible by all modes of transport. By road, the village is located just off the main A9, with junctions ideally situated to the south and north of the village. Aviemore is only 30 miles south from Inverness. The Retreat is located on Grampian road, behind Strathspey House, the main street running through the village.

From Tourist Information Centre and Aviemore Railway Station

From Aviemore TIC , travel north along the main street, passing all the shops and the church on the right hand side. Stathspey House is located on the right shortly after the War Memorial. Its a 5-10 minute walk or 2 minute drive a way. Private parking via the side road, Kinveachy Gardens.
