My spacious third floor victorian flat, is full of light and space It's a real home, distinctive antique furniture, books and original pictures, equipped for the enthusiastic cook. Comfortable and restful. Stunning views of Harrison Park, Pentland hills and the city. Stair access. Not suitable for people with restricted mobility.

The ideal location has been recommended by previous guests - 15 minutes by bus/taxi from Princes street,in peaceful, green, residential setting, beside the Union Canal.

We stayed for four nights during the Edinburgh festival and had a great stay. We found the apartment is be spacious, comfortably furnished, well-maintained and in pleasant surroundings. The walk into the centre of Edinburgh, along the canal path, was easy and fairy quick - we managed it in 20 mins. About the neighbourhood
The flat is situated 3.5km west of Princes Street in the urban village of Shandon. Much of the area has conservation status because of its quaint little streets of Victorian maisonettes with tiny gardens built for artisans by 19th century philanthropists.
The flat looks out on to the heart of Shandon - lovely Harrison Park,which lies alongside the Union Canal, which has been restored in recent years and is used by narrowboats, rowers and walkers.
