That way, we can welcome you to our beautiful city and show you how everything works. If you are arriving late in to the evening and just want to get to your bed rather than have a meet and greet service, we will give you a code to open a keybox which contains the keys to the apartment.

We were were met by the host and given a thorough orientation of the property and surrounding area. Beautiful property, great location and all the amenities you could want. We will certainly recommend and will be back next trip to Edinburgh!

The Old Schoolhouse Duplex is perfectly situated to the south of the city centre. There is a huge choice of restaurants and bars just minutes from your door but the apartment itself is peacefully located behind the old school gates!

Arriving by car: If you are driving, we recommend entering central Edinburgh using the A7 and follow signs for Old Town. You will pass the Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool on your right hand side and continue straight onto The Pleasance. Turn left in to West Richmond Street and then Davie Street is the second road on your left.
Arriving by air: After arriving at Edinburgh airport, take a taxi directly to the apartment, asking the driver to go to 'Davie Street, Newington' or you can take the airport ‘Airlink’ bus or tram into town and then take a taxi. If you choose to take a taxi all the way from the airport, the ride takes from 25 to 35 minutes depending on the time of day and will cost approximately £22-£25.
