Follow the Path of the river Tweed, then up hill and down dale, until you reach a hidden valley and the family's 2000 acre farm . Here nestle two barns beautifully converted and 40 yards apart, each with it's own entrance, with fabulous views over an ancient Borders landscape of drystone dykes and rolling hills. All bedrooms have ample clothes storage, mirrors, hairdryers, bedside cabinets. One of the bedrooms has twin beds which can be 'Zip & Link' into a superking size - guests must specify if this is required. The 1/2 level bedroom has a super kingsize 4 poster bed, an ensuite and patio doors with a patio area and seating for 2 outside. The 1st floor main bedroom has an ensuite, and a walk in wardrobe and a wall hung flat screen TV. A fully fitted utility room with tumble dryer, washing machine and hanging clothes pulley. Outdoor clothing can be hung in the spacious hall. Contemporary bathrooms house glass enclosed power showers and have stainless steel wall hung towel radiators. The open plan kitchen is spacious and fully kitted out. It boasts an electric range cooker and an American larder fridge/ freezer with ice machine. There is also a wireless didital music system. relax over dinner, sitting at a beautiful oak table admiring the view through the large arched window. Our handbook gives details of local and Edinburgh information maps/ walks/ activities and tourist attractions, along with contact telephone numbers for most locl restaurants, services, and ammenities. Horseriding, golf, fishing, and clay pigeon shooting can all be arranged.
