Skerryvore is a comfortable semi-detached bungalow (with owners living in adjacent house). It is situated at the southern edge of the picturesque town of Oban, in a quiet residential area, with views of Glen Shellach down to the Sound of Kerrera. Suitable for non-car owners, it is a 25 minute walk, or a short bus journey to the centre of town. There are numerous nearby countryside walks, beaches within 2 miles, and the many visitor attractions Oban and Argyll and Bute have to offer....Skerryvore is a comfortable semi-detached bungalow (with owners living in adjacent house). We stayed at skerryvore as a family, 3 adults and 2 children. Lovely well appointed property with everything you could possibly need. It is a little out of Oban centre as is mentioned in the description but it only takes 20 Min to walk into...More
A wonderful holiday!
The house was immaculately clean, very well equipped and in a handy location for amenities.
The cul-de-sac was quiet and perfect for the children to walk our 2 little dogs up and down.
Apart from the couch bed being difficult to fold...More
Easily reached from Town where there are lots of eating places. Fort William, Glen Coe Visitors Centre worth visiting. Kerrera and Mull are beautiful with lots of photograph opportunities. Accommodation is excellent.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Really comfortable and well appointed. Only about a mile from the centre of Oban.
Really appreciated all the extras provided (coffee, tea, condiments etc) that aren't always in rental properties.
Would highly recommend. The beds were really comfortable too.
We spent Christmas week here and found the place very cosy and clean with everything required that you could wish for, we couldn’t of asked for more thanks very much.

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.
The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The key safe is a bit tricky, especially if you arrive in the dark. It's a bit far out of town so you need to drive if you want...More
'Skerryvore' is situated in a quiet residential area in the southern part of the town. A brisk 20 minute walk to town, where the train, bus and ferry terminal are, or a short bus ride from the end of our street.
Getting around
The house is about 1 mile from the train station and ferry port. There is a local bus service into town, from the end of our street. The no. 1 bus runs approx. every 20 minutes. If you want to walk into town, it is worth taking a shortcut, by turning left at the end of our street and walking down the path to the railway bridge. This cuts out a section of the main road (A816). A taxi costs around £5 to get into town.
