A very warm comfortable, very well equipped cottage. Welcome pack was amazing. Host was friendly and helpful. Location is rural with stunning views but close to amenities by car. Would definitely return.

Everything was perfect. 10 minutes from the downtown area so the location is great. Very quiet location with views of the farms in the valley. The cottage is very clean and modern. The host is charming and very helpful. I highly recommend.

Staying at Derry Farm Cottages for a week was a great way to wind down at the end of a month of intense holidaying and sightseeing. It is extremely well set up with everything you need from washer and dryer to dishwasher. We were very warmly greeted on arrival and shown the ins and outs of such things as the wonderful central heating (important for cold frog Aussies). Shower pressure made me jealous as ours isn't anywhere as impressive at home. Not only were the rooms well appointed but the refrigerator came complete with goodies. Derry Farm Cottages went above and beyond in every way. For those who prefer a Queen size bed though it's worth mentioning that even though each bedroom has a double bed, they also have a single bed as well so if the elbows and knees become problematic you can spread out into the second bed. That said we absolutely loved staying there and will be back again we hope.

Stayed at Gortree Cottage along with our visiting Australian cousins. Absolutely perfect met all our needs. Cosy, warm, comfortable, extensive welcome pack, laundry facilities, (greatly appreciated by our Aus travellers), wifi, Sky TV and much much more. Neil & Elizabeth Boulton

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Managhmore cottage and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is furnished to a very high standard, is spotlessly clean and has the most wonderful views over the countryside. We have stayed at a number of holiday rentals with our 3 young children but what sets this one apart is the owner's attention to detail. The cottage is equipped with all the essentials to make your stay comfortable and the very thoughtful welcome pack means you dont have to immediately rush out to the shops. It makes a very nice change from some of the more hard-nosed commercial approaches to holiday rentals we have experienced where even the most basic items e.g. salt and pepper, washing up liquid etc, are not provided. The location is superb and allows easy access to all that the city has to offer. We will definitely return to enjoy those spectacular views!

My husband, teenage son, & I spent 3 wonderful nights at Derry Farm Cottages. We stayed at 4 self-catering places during our 11 day trip to N.I. and Ireland and this was by far the best. Our 15 year old son loved visiting with the Hunters' 4 alpacas. The views were breath taking and it was an easy 10 minute drive to Derry or a very reasonable taxi fare if you wanted to have a drink with dinner and not worry about driving on the crazy narrow roads. The pictures do not do the place justice. The rooms are very spacious - even the bathrooms. Mary stocks the fridge and pantry with a number of items for your convenience and is easily reached if you have any questions. The kitchen was outfitted well for cooking and the clothes washer and dryer are separate - not a combo machine. We hope to visit this area again and would not consider staying elsewhere.

Just spent a wonderful week in Derry Farm Cottages with my family and enjoyed both the charm of the cottage and the excellent facilities. After a long day travelling it was great to arrive to a welcome pack which included enough provisions to allow us to relax on our first evening without having to shop. The cottage was impeccably clean and comfortable, well appointed, and had excellent facilities including high speed WiFi and satellite TV with premium channels. The large kitchen/living room afforded wonderful views of the rolling countryside. The cottage owner was a pleasure to deal with and her attention to detail was evidence or her commitment to exceptional service. We will definitely return to Derry Farm Cottages in the future.

This was our second visit to Derry Farm cottages we love it so much, the cottage is fantastic, has everything anyone would need, spotless and very up to date. Views from cottage fantastic. lots of room around cottage for cars and there even was a barbicue table and chairs... fantastic!! this is defantly a 5 star cottage, will be back again for sure. Only problem we had was everwhere we went children just wanted to go back "home to the cottage" Owners lovely had a lovely welcome basket when we arrived. Thankyou for a brilliant 2 weeks we just loved it.

Would thoroughly recommend Derry Farm Cottage to anyone wishing to stay in the area as a great location to visit the north of Ireland Everything you need and wonderful hosts. Thanks to David and Mary Hunter for their friendship and hospitality. They were not intrusive but were there if you needed them. Would definitely recommend
