Bodlondeb is a charming, 17th century, stone built cottage, supremely located in the delightful village of Betws-y-Coed. Bodlondeb is light and airy throughout and decorated in a traditional style, amid an inviting 'home from home' atmosphere. Discover the famous Pont-y-Pair bridge, spanning the surging waters of the picturesque River Llugwy, just a stone's throw from the property on the quiet B5106 road to Gwydir Castle. The drive has parking for three or four cars and is only a few minutes walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants in the village, without the need to use a car, just park , relax and unwind. Renowned as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia', Betws-y-Coed provides excellent mountaineering, mountain biking, canoeing and nature watching opportunities amidst the stunning mountain range that surrounds the area, together with a good choice of shops and pubs. An ideal base for an all year round action packed or restful holiday. There is now fully secured dedicated free WiFi available throughout the cottage. Brilliant place to stay in perfect location, I wouldn’t worry about parking comments we had 2 big cars and a camper van on the drive. Delightful welcome hamper on arrival too. Many thanks to Robert the owner.

Betws y Coed is a short drive from Portmeirion, Conwy Castle, Caernarfon Castle, Anglesey and the Snowdonia Mountain range. The queen of welsh resorts Llandudno is just a 30 minute drive, with the superb Venue Cymru offering a theatre and arena with both staging top rated productions such as Evita, Blood Brothers and Calendar Girls and performances from artists such as Jooles Holland, Australian Pink Floyd tribute band and the Welsh National Opera.
