'Over The Way' Is a conversion of 3 stables at this livery yard facing the main house on the other side of the garden that you will share with the owners. You will find loads of reviews on the other main websites but please book through 'trip advisor'. You enter through the middle stable with the bath / loo / shower room in front and a kitchen / diner half left. You walk through the kitchen diner to get to the large double bedroom. You turn right and you are in the sitting room that has a double sofa bed, log burning stove and TV. The fixtures and fittings are of a good quality without being 'flash'. The kitchen / diner is small and basic but perfectly adequate. This appartment can be described as rustic and cosy ...'Over The Way' Is a conversion of 3 stables at this livery yard facing the main house on the other side of the garden that you will share with the owners. Interaction with guests
We are all extremely relaxed here. If we can help you with anything we will. If we can be flexible about check in / check out times we will be. Dogs are always welcome and we are not fussed where they go. Normally, lifts are easy to arrange to and from Dorking. 'Thom' is your main point of contact. and alkways contactable by mobile.

Myself and four friends stayed the weekend of the Denbies Wine Estate Half Marathon. The location is picturesque, the accommodation is warm and rustic, the price is very reasonable.

About the neighbourhood
Coldharbour is the highest community in South East England with our own pub and our own shop just opposite Best just to 'Google' Coldharbour or the Surrey Hills for a take on the immediate environment. It is very rural by any standards and amazingly so considering we are less that 25 miles from Charing Cross (Central London). There is plenty of open National Trust and Forestry Commission land + a network of public footpaths to explore either on foot or bike. Leith Hill Tower is half an hours walk away and is the highest point in South East England. There are endless lovely pubs that are a comfortable walk away through the woods with barely any time on tarmac roads
Getting around
Without a car you will be walking / cycling or persuading someone from the host family or a member of staff to give you a lift (they are very obliging) There are occasional buses into Dorking
