IMPORTANT GUEST NOTES • The following stays can be booked - 3 night weekend breaks Friday to Monday, 4 night midweek breaks Monday to Friday or 7, 14 night stays arriving on either a Friday or Monday. At certain times of the year and usually within one month of arrival, many of our lodges are available for a 2 night weekend break (typically Friday & Saturday). Christmas and New Year – There are set stays at this time. Please click ‘Send Message’ to find out more. • After booking you will receive a message requesting further information including the names and ages of all guests and postal address so that we may complete the booking on our own internal booking system. • Esk Pike benefits from its own complimentary dedicated WiFi connection. This should be suitable for streaming services allowing you to log into your Amazon Prime, Now TV or Netflix accounts. Quality of connection may vary at times. No guarantee is given as to the speed of WiFi service or its reliability. WiFi is provided for personal use only and is not intended for high data usage, gaming and/or use for business purposes. • The lodge is situated on an operational holiday park. Your stay is subject to separate park rules and guests agree to follow these rules during their stay which includes going to reception to register on arrival. ACCOMMODATION DETAILS Living area: - Double doors from the breakfast/kitchen area lead through to a cosy lounge which can be closed off with curtains - Feature log burner effect gas fire - Furniture includes a comfortable corner fabric sofa and pine coffee table - There is a wall mounted 40″ flat screen TV, DVD player and mini hi-fi Kitchen area: - The well equipped galley kitchen includes a gas hob and electric oven, built in fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and toaster, ample cutlery and crockery, storage cupboards Master bedroom: - The large master bedroom has a solid pine double bedstead, built in wardrobe and dressing table - Door opens to an outside secluded side deck - Electric thermostatically controlled radiator - Wall mounted TV Second bedroom: - The second bedroom has 2 full size solid pine single beds (one is slightly smaller at 5 foot 6 inch) - Built in wardrobe with drawers - Electric thermostatically controlled radiator - Wall mounted TV Shower room: - A stable style door leads to the shower room with walk in shower cubicle with power shower, vanity unit, toilet and shaving point OTHER INFORMATION * PLEASE NOTE: The lodge is located at the top of a hill * Electric heating and double glazing ensuring a cosy feel all year round * For families with children – the area immediately around the lodge may not be suitable for playing outside * Selection of DVDs and board games provided * What's included? A fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. All gas and electricity, bed linen and towels. Please bring your own swimming towels when using the hot tub and/or leisure facilities. * Accessibility: Esk Pike is accessed by 5 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level. * Outside Area: The deck is fully enclosed, secure and gated. A slab or base is provided for a BBQ but please bring your own disposable BBQ. The decking area runs around the front and side of the lodge with patio furniture. The hot tub is located inside a wooden gazebo. * Leisure Facilities: All stays include FREE use of Choices leisure facilities during your stay (located offsite at Troutbeck Bridge - LA23 1HP). Further details provided in the arrival information. Alternatively, White Cross Bay has its own onsite leisure facilities. You will need to purchase a leisure pass from reception which is currently £15 per lodge. This covers everyone staying in the lodge for the duration of your stay.More

Took my partner here for her birthday absolutely stunning log cabin with private enclosed hot tub, very clean inside and out perfect for couples retreat or family get away. Set on really nice friendly site plenty to do from walks,swimming,bar,water sports,picnics I advice going to...More

Fabulous log cabin in such a quiet location. This log cabin has great facilities both me and my partner love it here we booked as soon as we came back home. So relaxing

Me and my wife stayed in the log cabin in March for our 5th wedding anniversary, we really enjoyed our stay and would recomend it to anyone. Beautiful location and scenery perfect for watching the wildlife.

White Cross Bay Holiday Park - is situated on the shores of Lake Windermere in one of the most idyllic and scenic locations in the heart of the Lake District. The panorama of the lake, surrounding fells and countryside is simply breath-taking. The park lies between the villages of Windermere and Ambleside, close to all the local attractions and amenities. The popular centre of Bowness-on-Windermere with its many restaurants and bars is also a short distance away. White Cross Bay boasts a range of onsite facilities including a restaurant, lounge bar and leisure facilities (payable locally).
Getting around
Railway: Windermere train station connects to Kendal where you will find a selection of high street shops and major supermarkets. Bus: The train station is also a hub for local bus services connecting Windermere with Coniston, Grasmere, Keswick and other destinations in Cumbria. Car: The A591 is the main route through the national park connecting north to south. The road connects Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere, Keswick. White Cross Bay is off the A591. Boat: Windermere Lake Cruises offer an idyllic way of getting to various shores. Their main pier is in Bowness-on-Windermere, approx. 8-min drive from White Cross Bay, approx. 25-min walk from Windermere village.
