Crandy Nook, built in 1891 of traditional lakeland stone, is a fabulous 4-bedroom maisonette converted to an exceptional standard. Both bathrooms, assessed as 5-star quality, have walk-in showers and heated towel rails as well as three piece suites. The kitchen is completed to a high standard with integrated Neff appliances and induction hob, granite work surfaces and slate floor. There is a wall mounted Sony flatscreen TV and iPod docking station.

Crandy Nook enjoys Visit England 4* rating.

Located in the centre of Keswick, Crandy Nook is just a couple of minutes from

The accommodation is first class, lots of space great facilities and the top floor living room has views that will make you want to sell up and buy your own place in the Lakes. The location could not be better - just on the edge...More

We had a party of walkers stay here for a week - the location was great for Keswick facilities, bars, restaurant, bus station etc. The apartment was very comfortable with the Kitchen/lounge particularly attractive with views over the local area.

During non-peak (excluding school holidays) we offer midweek (arrive Monday, leave Friday morning) and weekend breaks (arrive Friday, leave Monday morning), please ask for rates. We may be more flexible in non-peak periods.

We welcome one well behaved dog at no additional cost.

About the neighbourhood
Keswick on Derwentwater is an attractive market town set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery in the Lake District

There is something for everyone. Activities include a variety of water sports, wall climbing, paragliding and swimming. Go Ape and mountain biking are in nearby Whinlatter Forest. Keswick also offers two large public parks which offer games facilities in open, wooded and garden settings. Other facilities include a new sports hall, leisure pool, cinema, golf, cycle hire and fishing. Why not try the 400-seat Theatre on the Lake or a cruise on Derwentwater.

Historic places of interest include the 4000-year old Castlerigg Stone Circle, Mirehouse, Victorian museum, and the pencil museum. There is a twice-weekly market.
