Reviewed 27 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

A glorious week of relaxation. Our 8 year old became free range and bloomed in such a war, welcoming and beautiful setting. Guinea pigs cuddles, chicken feeding and putting the ducks to bed became part of our daily routine. The beck and the swings were far more popular with my little girl than any screen could ever be. A shame...

Management response:

So pleased you enjoyed your stay in our "Nest" and found it comfortable and relaxing and still a good place to visit all the Lake District which is within easy reach of Bassenthwaite. Hope you may consider staying with us again in the future.
