Overview
Holiday Rental House -
4 Bedrooms , 4 Bathrooms , Sleeps 8
Fairford, Cotswolds, England
Situated at the end of a long, private drive MERE COACH HOUSE is a spacious FOUR BEDROOM & FOUR BATHROOM holiday cottage situated on the edge of the Fairford, a sleepy market town on the edge of the Cotswolds. Inside the house has large entertaining rooms, with the kitchen / diner a real eye catcher - particularly the views towards 'your land' from the glass doors that spread right across the room. Perhaps the biggest appeal for us when we (Manor Cottages) inspected this were the four bedrooms with their own ensuites - making this absolutely perfect for groups / couples as well as families.

Fairford is more a village than town (in our opinion) but it still has a selection of pubs and restaurants plus a few take aways and basic shops. Within an easy drive is CIRENCESTER and BURFORD plus a wide array of beautiful villages. Fa...

About the neighbourhood
Fairford is a small town (well large village really!) that sits on a lovely stretch of the River Coln. It has a long history (and wealthy one) that owes its fortune to its location - an important coaching town on the old London to Gloucester route. Some of the inns and hotels are reminders of this. As so many villages, its great glory is the parish chuch St Mary's which is a fine 'wool church' with a complete set of 28 medieval stained glass windows. The Coln river is a slow and lazy river, offering delightful walks in the quiet Cotswold countryside including kingfishers, swans, little grebe and brown trout plus shy water voles.
