Bourton-on-the-Water, Cotswolds, England
Captain's Cabin is an enchanting and romantic Grade II listed holiday cottage in the centre of arguably the prettiest chocolate box town in the Cotswolds, Bourton On The Water. There is a private parking space for one medium sized car directly in front of the cottage. The cottage boasts plenty of traditional charm with period features, exposed beams (lowest downstairs 5ft 7) , reclaimed oak flooring with a lovely inglenook fireplace (one of the largest I have ever seen) and a dual fuel traditional log burner for cosy evenings. There are exposed stone walls in some rooms with honey coloured Cotswold stone but the cottage is fully central heated on demand to keep you toasty! The cottage is set over three floors with charming traditional (but steep) staircases which may be unsuitable for the elderly, very young or those who have mobility... Read more
