This is a perfect location for views over and along the Brighton seafront. Being able to walk from here to downtown , the train station, stores and almost anywhere is a bonus. The apartment has all the amenities one could hope for. James made us...More

Firstly apologies to our hosts for doing this so long after our stay. Excellent location for beach, Hove and Brighton . Good restaurants and amenities nearby. Reasonable walk to all the major sites . Would definitely stay here again if visiting Brighton.

From the day of arrived through to departure, we could not have asked for better service. The flat was immaculate and we were given a great steer as to the best places in Brighton. We would love to return.

About the neighbourhood
The penthouse apartment is sat in the middle of Brighton & Hove beach, just one block away from the high street, Western Road. Google map's make it look that its at one end of the beach but Hove lawns back the beach so they are not showing it correctly at all which you will easily see on arrival. The beach goes miles in both directions. Although its centrally located with restaurants and bars close by, the apartment is a quiet oasis. All of Brighton and Hove is in walking distance.
Getting around
Everything is in walking distance, it's unlikely you will move your car once staying. Regular buses will take you around town if you prefer with a coast bus going out in either direction to towns further along the coast and the seven sisters. Shared bike scheme though out Brighton & Hove has a bike lock stand directly outside the apartment so you can take a bike at only 3 pence per minute (minimum £1 charge) and drop off elsewhere. A wonderful ride is all along the seafront, passing the pier, the Marina, then along the base of the white tall cliffs with the beach on your right and stop at a lovely pub for lunch.

Ferry: Newhaven : 18.0 km
Close to your arrival date a welcome information pack including directions via train (including walking routes from), aeroplane (London Gatwick being the closest but then London Heathrow) and car is sent out via email.

London Gatwick airport is a short 20 minute train, taxi or car ride away.
Central London is just under an hour via train.
The M23 Motorway goes direct from the M25 London circular Motorway to Brighton in half an hour.
