'Eclipse' is amongst the premier holiday cottages in this part of the Sussex coast, the cottage has been beautifully restored to a very high standard and is set in a stunning coastal location in the picturesque seaside village of Rottingdean, situated just a few miles from the centre of Brighton. The cottage has wonderful views of the sea, the village and the Sussex South Downs including the iconic Rottingdean windmill.
The cottage sleeps up to 8 people with 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms with king size beds in the doubles and full size single beds in the twin bedrooms making it ideal for families, with a bathroom and 2 bedrooms on each floor. Each bedroom has its own digital TV and DVD player.

Really loved this house and the amazing views. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Good village with enough places to eat and drink. We had a really good time here would definitely recommend.

We stayed here on one of our best family vacations yet, the house lent itself well to the slower pace of our 90-something, and the expecting mother and our youngest. Such a relaxing and comfortable place!! I wish we could re-live it.

NB The above rates are for up to 6 guest for 7-8 guests an extra £20 per night per guest applies. NB There is no extra cleaning fee etc charged. A deposit of 20% secures the booking with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. The payment process is direct to the owners. Mike & Yvonne Brown as we prefer to manage all our bookings directly with our guests - please feel free to call us on the contact number if you wish to discuss. Normal payments method is by bank transfer ie BACS.
We also accept payment by Paypal.
A security deposit of around £150 is charged with each booking and set against significant breakages or major cleaning. Discounts are provided for longer lets ie over 2 weeks

Situated just a few miles along the coast from Brighton and in touching distance of the South Downs National park with the famous 'Severn Sisters' there is plenty to see and do for all ages .Also the historic towns of Arundel and Lewes with their castles are within travelling distance and well worth a visit.

If travelling from London down the M23 /A23 turn off onto the A270 signposted for Lewes before you enter Brighton and after a few miles take the B2123 down into Rottingdean.
