Stylish yet practical city Loft

Ok for a place to sleep....

The apartment is absolutely lovely and I would stay here again. However, attention has been paid to aesthetics over practicality and useability. If you are looking at the apartment as merely a place to stay, then it's a good bet, however we found some issues...More

About the neighbourhood
The Brick Loft is one of a handful of residential apartments right in the middle of Paintworks, a dynamic and lively place to stay in whilst you are in Bristol. Situated alongside the River Avon, Paintworks has been labelled 'the creative quarter' of Bristol, as it's home to a host of trendy film companies, digital agencies and design studios. There's also lots of small courtyards, green spaces and a few riverside benches - great to discover on a mooch around the site. There may even be an art show or food festival whilst your visiting in the popular event space. Paintworks also has a lovely restaurant/bar/cafe and a coffee trailer on site. They both do great good and coffee.
Getting around
Paintworks is also just a stones throw away from the city centre (less than 2 miles) and you couldn't really be closer to Temple Meads Railway Station is (approx 5-10 mins by car or a 15 - 20 minute walk). The main bus route straight to the train station or Bristol city centre leaves from the road directly opposite Paintworks approx. every 10 minutes. The route into Bath also leaves from outside Paintworks making it a great base for getting out and about without the need of a car. It takes approx. 10 minutes to drive into the centre of Bristol from paintworks (depending on traffic) Cabs cost approx. £7 - 10 from directly outside the loft into town. Buses between £1.50 - £3 one way.
