Martin's property has been my favorite house rental ever! We do an annual girls trip and this has been such a great serene location. We stopped at the store in town and had easy mornings where we made breakfast and ate on the deck which overlooked trees and mountains in the background. The hammock in the living room was a huge hit. Martin was great with communication and gave great directions! We will definitely stay here again in the future and hopefully have more time to hike to the nearby lake!

Although this rental has many interesting rustic features, it is still a comfortable and well equipped place to relax and enjoy magnificent views of nature. Surrounded by mature trees and featuring mountain and glacier views, we also enjoyed watching wildlife: squirrels in the trees, beautiful butterflies and birds and, to our great excitement, a black bear made a brief appearance in the garden! Kitchen, bathroom, beds etc are all high quality, Would loved to have stayed longer.

The place itself is gorgeous, super cozy. The place is secluded and feels like a cabin in the woods with amazing views of the mountains. The place was clean and perfect, thanks!

Amazing house, perfect setting! Very calm area, with the stream running below the house and the great view of Tantalus and the glacier across the valley. The huge bay windows provide incredible views from inside the house. The hammock in the living room is a nice additional touch, both parents and kids used it extensively for naps, play, reading, etc. Lots of hiking in the area, including the hike to Butterfly Lake that you can start from the house. Martin was very nice and helpful, showed us his ongoing projects when we arrived. Merci Martin !

Beautiful space, quick responses from the owner, everything you could possibly need on site. Hammock was the nicest edition. Loved the unique pieces of wood chosen to build the space. Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy
