About the neighbourhood
England's finest Georgian town Bath is ~30 minutes by car, where you'll find the famous Roman Baths. The Historic harbour city of Bristol is also ~30 minutes away. A bit closer 10 minutes away are the traditional market towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury (England's oldest borough dating back over 1,000 years with it's imposing Norman Abbey). Northwards you can exlore the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, towns (e.g. Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham) and other beautiful villages (e.g. Bibury with its 14th Century Arlington Row of Cottages, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the Wold, Chipping Campden, Burford, and Broadway). You can also easily explore the mysterious and beautiful county of Wiltshire, including the iconic Stonehenge!
Getting around
Whilst there are local bus services, ideally you need a car or bicycle to best explore the area.
