Condo/Apartment
Spindrift is simply spectacular. Accessed by funicular or steps, it’s elevated enough to command 180° views of False Bay, set back enough from the high street to be peaceful, and yet close enough to the village to walk to the harbour, the beaches, the pavement cafés, restaurants and bars for which Kalk Bay is famous. Wine farms, golf courses and big-ticket sites such as Cape Point, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch, The Waterfront and Robben Island are easily accessible by car via nearby highways. Built in 2016 to exacting standards, this holiday apartment will appeal to those who want their surroundings thoughtfully designed and lovingly furnished. It’s an elegant apartment consisting of a large sitting room with an adjoining small but very well equipped kitchen, a luxurious bedroom and bathroom. It’s decorated in a timeless English style with a touch of French flair. It has larch floors, panel heaters and double-glazed windows to ensure year round warmth. A wooden veranda spans the front of the apartment and is equipped with cane furniture. It’s simply the best. More

About the neighbourhood
The Cape is a feast. If it's beaches for sunbathing, swimming and surfing you're after, Cape Town has more than a dozen to choose from. If wine farms offering tastings or packed picnics is appealing, the magnificent Cape wine region is waiting to tempt you. If you're looking for spectacular mountain walks or just a ride to the top, Table Mountain is on your doorstep. Or it could be whale-watching or marveling at acres of spring flowers or playing golf on a different course every day that makes a holiday worthwhile. Does eating at world-class restaurants for less than you'd expect work for you? Or mooching through antique shops and indulging at country food markets? The Cape has it all.
Getting around
The best way to see what the Cape has to offer is by car. There is a railway line that passes through Kalk Bay that runs from Cape Town to Simons Town but the trains are slow and not very reliable.
