Holiday Rental House
About Plum Cottage: A beautiful cottage with central heating and log burning fire place, this home from home gets really cosy in colder wintery months so is perfect year round. The bedrooms are spacious and light, some with feature antique bed frames and all with new mattresses and quilts/linens in line with our recent refurbishment. Feel yourself sinking into deeper relaxation after a days adventuring in Lincolnshire with a log burner fuelled hot tub under the starlit sky - you wont believe just how many stars you can see on a clear night in our rural setting. Before retiring by the fireside - bliss! The ground floor features a large porch way for hanging coats and leaving shoes and boots in, you walk into an open plan kitchen and casual seating area - the perfect spot for reading a boo...About Plum Cottage: A beautiful cottage with central heating and log burning fire place, this home from home gets really cosy in colder wintery months so is perfect year round. Stayed here this weekend (Friday to Monday). I am lost for words. We’ve stayed in Cottages the length and breath of the UK for 20 + years but nothing comes close to this. Really amazing place, full of good vibes and absolutely everything you need....More

About the neighbourhood
You will find rural market towns close by like Louth, Caistor and Beverley all with lovely restaurants, further afield will take you to coastal towns and further into the Lincolnshire Wolds, with adventure experiences on the door step, nearby pubs/reatsurants with log burning fire places and locally brewed ales, quirky and boutique shops. Larger supermarkets and tourist attractions can be found in Grimsby /Cleethorpes Or go a bit further to Lincoln/ Hull or further still to York/Sheffield/Leeds and catch a show in one of the theatres, enjoy some local culture and heritage with museums, buzzing high streets and nightlife, all within driveable distance for days/evenings out.
Getting around
We do recommend having a car if you want to get into the local area, however local supermarkets do deliver to the farm for your grocery needs so if you really wanted a total escape and retreat from the chaos of day to day constant activity then we can arrange to collect you and take you back to the rail station/humberside airport and you can just immerse yourself into the natural beauty on offer at the farm.
