Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife. Town: Set in rural Northumberland, the village of Longframlington is located between the Cheviots and the coast, and provides access to a range of excellent walking opportunities. Just a short drive away is the restored Augustinian Brinkburn Priory, set along the banks of the River Coquet. Just 10 minutes drive to the west is the National Trust's Cragside House and Gardens, whilst the Heritage Coast is only 15 minutes in the opposite direction, offering miles of clean sandy beaches. The historic town of Alnwick, with its impressive Castle and Garden is also close by and well worth visiting as the filming location for the Harry Potter films. The spectacular National Park is also within easy reach adding a number of walking and cycling routes to this wonderful location.More

Very well furnished and equipped. Each of the three bedrooms ensuite, which really helped the morning routine for 5 adults. Good size rooms throughout. Lovely garden with a few chickens wandering around. Nice rural location but only a short distance to Longframlington with village shop....More
