Located in the village of Silverdale, Sunnyside Cottage is semi-detached and offers spacious, well presented and comfortable accommodation which is perfect for couples and small families. On the ground floor there is a modern dining kitchen which is well-equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine. The separate living room is bright and welcoming with plenty of comfy seating, a Smart TV with DVD player and gas fire for those cooler winter evenings. Within the living room is a study area with desk, telephone, and sound system, and Wi-Fi, games, books and DVDs are provided to keep everyone entertained. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one of which has a kingsize bed, and there is also a family bathroom. Outside is a courtyard area with garden furniture and barbecue. Silverdale is situated on the coast of Morecambe Bay, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close to the Cumbrian border, it’s a great base from which to explore the Southern Lakes and coastline. The wildlife in the area is very diverse making it popular with walkers, nature lovers and birdwatchers. The RSPB Leighton Moss is 1½ miles from the cottage, other nature reserves in the area include Trowbarrow, Warton Crag, Gait Barrows, Hyning Scout Wood and Arnside Knott. Other places worth visiting close by include Leighton Hall, Carnforth Station Heritage Centre, the pretty seaside village of Arnside, 3 miles, Lakeland Wildlife Park, 4 miles, Levens Hall, 7 miles, and Sizergh Castle, 9 miles. Carnforth, which is approximately 4 miles away also, has a good selection of shops, supermarkets, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Over in Cumbria, Kendal and Windermere are both within a half hour drive. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 600 yards. Free WiFi. 8 steps to the property.
