It really does offer a wonderful retreat for those who seek relaxation in luxury as well as the opportunity for a bit of activity should the mood call. The apartment itself is light and spacious and and all rooms are furnished in a contemporary style. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest equipment which includes a dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, oven and hob and a large fridge freezer. New for 2016 is a filtered water tap. The open plan living room is a joy to be in and you will love the simple luxury that is on offer here. Bedroom one, the master bedroom has a very comfortable double bed and of course 2 bedside tables with lamps. Patio doors offer direct access to the south facing patio where glimpses of stunning sea views are on offer. The second bedroom room has two comfortable single beds and just one bedside table with a shared lamp. Both bedrooms have spacious built in wardrobes. Please note that all linen and inside towels are provided for the duration of your stay. Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout the apartment and this has very good connectivity. Don't forget to bring your own computer so that you can play games, watch movies or simply just keep in touch with the real World.The fully tiled family bathroom has a good size shower cubicle, a sink, a toilet. The all important hairdryer is also here for your usage during your stay. Full air conditioning (both cold and hot air) is available at the apartment. Being Spain outside is where you will probably spend the majority of your time and the apartment is complimented by the most amazing south facing terrace/balcony. Outside dining (for 4 people) is on offer here on the beautiful rattan dining set. It really is the perfect place to enjoy a meal at anytime of the day. Secure parking is available via the underground garage and this gives almost direct access to the entrance of the apartment. The electric at the apartment is paid for using a metered system. Please note that pre paid cards must be purchased from ourselves before the electric can be used. The apartment is wonderfully located close to the small fishing village of Isla Plana and as such is within easy walking distance to the essentials such as supermarkets, pharmacy, traditional bakery and a ATM machine. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach and Isla Plana also has a selection of excellent (and cheap) local bars and restaurants. For small children there is a playground just a minute from the the apartment and several more located around the village .If driving, it takes 5-10 minutes to the neighboring towns of Puerto de Mazarron or Mazarron with their greater range of services. With over 320 sunny days a year Isla Plana offers much to do, nice beaches, nature reserves with hiking / biking trails. It also offers one of Europe's best opportunities for scuba diving, snorkeling and whale and dolphin watching. Also nearby are several World class golf courses, wine tasting, local markets and (during the winter months) skiing. The list goes on and on! Just back from staying here with my husband and 2 children. The apartment is furnished very well and had everything we needed. Everyday we had the pool to ourselves. Although within walking distance to the beach I would recommend a hire car as the apartment...More

About the neighbourhood
Thanks to its location, in a bay, Mazarron is protected from the cool currents from trom the Atlantic Ocean, and the water temperature is 5 degrees Celsius warmer than in the open Mediterranean. Also, there is a very pleasant micro-climate, even in winter the temperatures are about 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. Around Mazarron there are several wonderful and wide sandy beaches which alternate with small bays and cliffs. The latter are of particular interest to divers because of the beautiful underwater world. South of Mazarron there is a 26-kilometer long completely undeveloped stretch of beaches - the longest in Spain - with pristine fauna and flora. Off the coast you can watch dolphins and whales. Puerto de Mazarron is the touristic center of the area, here you find golden sandy beaches ...
Getting around
The apartment is located near to the village centre of Isla Plana which is on the Puerto de Mazarron - Cartagena bus route. This offers direct services in both directions up to 4 times a day. Local taxis are in expensive and can easily be telephoned to pick up at the Mojon Hills complex.
