Prices have been adjusted to reflect common area facilities being closed. ** ** The complex is currently undergoing a parkade membrane remediation project and there may be noise heard from the unit Monday - Friday. Expected completion is for mid-September however this may be extended further depending on how quickly the project progresses. ** PEACE OF MIND * All of our units offer self-check-in. * Our team offers 24 / 7 support for all of our guests and in light of social distancing measures, we are happy to help you remotely with anything that you should need. * Our professional cleaning teams have great attention to detail and are also paying extra attention to disinfecting all high contact areas between each reservation. WELCOME TO IRONWOOD - Perched on Blueberry Hill you are a short drive to the world-renowned Whistler village yet can enjoy a peaceful vacation with family or friends LOCATION ⇒ Taxi to town is approx. $10 ⇒ Nearest Bus Stop (Ptarmigan Place $2.50) - 100m ⇒ Nearest Gondola (Whistler Village Gondola) - 6 min drive ⇒ Nearest Grocery Store (Fresh St. Market) - 5 min drive ⇒ Whistler Visitors Centre - 5 min drive ⇒ Nearest Park / Lake (Lakeside) - 10 min walk IN THE WINTER In the winter, there are plenty of activities on offer such as snowmobiling, dog sled excursions, zip line adventures, bobsledding plus more. There is an abundance of shops and restaurants to choose from in Whistler and the nightlife is in full swing every night of the week. During peak season dates the Olympic Plaza in the village has free ice skating, there is just a small charge for rental skates. Make your way to skiers plaza on a Sunday evening to catch the free 'Fire & Ice' show and witness some world-class skiers and snowboarders as well as some celebratory fireworks. IN THE SUMMER In the summer, this complex is close to Alta Lake and the Whistler Golf Course. Alta Lake is a 10-minute walk from the complex, providing paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking and Blueberry Docks are just around the corner where you can bask in the sun. The River of Golden Dreams starts right out at Alta Lake and is a great summer activity where you can see wildlife and soak in the mountain views. There are multiple events and free concerts in Whistler throughout the summer and the bike trails are world-class. The hiking in and around Whistler will certainly exceed expectations. There is a Market in the Upper Village twice weekly and an 'Adventure Zone' for kids with bungee trampolines, mini-golf, go-carts, mazes, batting cages and so much more! THE LAYOUT Upon entering the condo, there is an open plan living and dining area that features a full kitchen with everything that is required to cook up a big family meal or just a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or the trails. In the spacious sunken living room, there is a gas fireplace to cozy up to after a day of exploring the mountains. This space features a balcony w/ BBQ and a large flat-screen TV. The dining area seats up to 6 people. Down the hall, there is a separate master suite area. The master bedroom features a king bed, lounging area, large flat-screen TV, and ensuite with a separate sink area. The second bedroom has a single bunk over double with a trundle underneath and there is a queen sofa bed in the living room. You will also find an in-suite laundry complete with washing powder for your convenience. Free WiFi, cable and local calls are all included.
