About the neighbourhood
There is a great local pub (the george hotel) free wifi available, served bar meals / kids meals at reasonable prices even take-aways, Kennedys Chocolate factory in the middle of village definately worth a visit for the great chocolates and also a small tearoom. There is a village store which sells all the essentials, open every day except sunday 8am to 6pm two doors away
Getting around
You will need a car to see the great scenery, but there are many walks and cycle routes on the door step to go and explore the great outdoors and we are on the border of the Lake Disrict & Yorkshire Dales National Parks and the coast to coast walking route and the w2w cycle route and Lakes & Dales Cycle Loop. There is so much on the door step for all the family to explore.
