Enclosed lawned garden with patio, furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Beach 5 mins walk. Region: County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas. Town: The rural coastal village of Cloghane is situated on the northern tip of the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, and features stunning scenery and panoramic views of both the countryside and the sea. Home to the majestic Mount Brandon, walking and hiking lovers are well catered for in this small village, while everyone can enjoy the delights of the seaside at the many local beaches. With the whole of the Dingle Peninsula on the doorstep, and the rest of County Kerry and Ireland beyond, this is a fantastic location for an Irish holiday.

So close to perfect but ......
The owner was helpful in terms of our arrival time. The house is clean, lovely and has many plus factors. The view to the bay is excellent but the '5 mins walk to the beach' we never discovered. Perhaps it was one mile to the pub but nearer to two and not safe to walk. Narrow roads. We felt that an information book would have been really useful. The hot water fuelled by oil never got sufficiently hot for a bath and we were a bit surprised by the fuel costs at the end of the week. We put the heating on twice a day for about an hour and only on one floor. We did very little cooking and I hate showers so my husband had one electric shower per day. The cost for fuel for the week was 50€ - there were only two of us.....had there been seven?? The main issue is not having any idea of the cost per unit in advance nor a closing reading although an opening reading was supplied. The open fire was great and worked well and there was sufficient solid fuel for a couple of fires. Everywhere was clean and the dishwasher worked well - we used it three times. We did not use the washing machine or tumble dryer.. It is quite isolated so I would recommend the property to a friend with explanations. There was a mobile wifi with no instructions for use. I connected OK for three days then it would not connect thereafter but O'donnells bar in Cloghane has great food and free wifi.
