About the neighbourhood
The main cross streets are Avila Camacho to the south, La Pradera to the north, and the casita is in a privada (cul de sac) off of El Prado street. Closest main streets to downtown center are Morelos and Obregon. Privada del Prado is just off the street El Prado. On Avila Camacho there are many restaurants and shops, a large Supermarket (Walmart) takes Discover card, no foreign fees! Taxi stand right outside casita street entrance. Language schools nearby in walking distance. Spanish Language Institute directly across the street which is excellent. Parking in front of the casita which is closed off by a large gate at night.
How to get there
You can use either Mexico City Airport or Toluca Airport. From Mexico City Pullman de Morelos buses leave both Terminal one and 2 about every 30 minutes until about 11 at night. Cost is 203 pesos. At the La Selva bus station in Cuernavaca, buy an authorized taxi ticket near the exit from the bus station luggage drop off. It is about 35 pesos to the property.
