The forest offers a host of wildlife from salamanders and agouti to hummingbirds and budgies. There are a number of forestland walkways to fully enjoy the wildlife experience.
The capital Scarbrough is 2 miles away with a local shop at the end of the track.
The villa was built by ourselves to a very high standard. Completed 5 years ago, most materials and furnishings were imported from England including the d.glazed uPVC windows and doors. Two of the double bedrooms and living area have uPVC sliding patio doors leading to the main large balcony area.
The villa and grounds are secured by a 6' fence and locking gates. Our two dogs live in a large, separate fenced off area in the grounds. Our caretaker and friend 'Nyron' comes to the villa daily to feed and maintain them. Nyron also maintains the pool, does the airport runs, offers a taxi service and is your go-to person during your stay. The dogs are very friendly (unless you are an intruder). Most guests like to invite them into the main gardens or main living area. If you are not a dog lover they will stay in their kenneled garden area, and not impose on your stay in any way.More
Not safe or suitable for infants (under 2 years) and pets - The pool is up to 6' deep and has stairs without a stair-gate leading to it.
Check-in is anytime after 3PM and check out by 12PM (noon)
The villa is very private. It is surrounded by rainforest and accessed via a gravel track which is suitable for vehicles. The nearest landmark is the Dwyte-Yorke stadium which is not far from the end of the gravel track.
The Noel-Claude Highway is also at the end of the track making access to Scarbrough and surrounding areas very easy.
