The family bathroom has bath with electric shower, extractor fan, and heated towel rail. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped, and the property has real wooden flooring extending throughout the living area, dining area, and into the conservatory. The conservatory looks out over a large decked area with patio furniture and takes in wonderful views out across the beautiful surrounding countryside - a lovely area to sit, relax, and watch the Red Kites and buzzards soaring above the valley. Designated parking is available alongside the cottage with space for two cars. There are no hidden extras - electricity and heating are included, with no additional booking fees taken by the managing agent. We provide our guests with a comprehensive Tourist Information Folder which provides information on everything you will need during your stay; including local information ensuring you will never be short of things to see and do during your stay. However, should you have any questions we are always on hand to answer your queries. Ideally situated in the beautiful Aeron Valley, the property provides a good base for exploring Ceredigion and its wonderful Heritage coastline. There are lovely walks, cycle paths, and an abundance of leisure pursuits and activities all within close proximity to the property. The property is set amongst cherry trees, copper beech, elder and oak trees, with huge swathes of rhododendron and honeysuckle in Springtime. The glorious autumn colour later in the year makes it a pleasant year-round destination. The gentle flowing River Aeron meanders nearby, although at a lower level and a safe distance from the property. Local fishing ponds are within walking distance, and there is also a golf course close by. Of the many lovely walks in the area, we always recommend our guests visit the Secret Garden of Tyglyn, just a pleasant stroll away via a short country lane walk. It has a picnic area and a safe playing area for children with many hidden surprises for them to discover. There is also an idyllic walled garden close by. Many cycle routes can be found in the local area. A cycle route runs from the National Trust Llanerchaeron Mansion House (just 1.5 miles away) through lovely countryside into Aberaeron; a nice flat route also suitable for walkers. Pedestrian access from the Estate leads to a small country house Steakhouse which has a small bar and a restaurant, offering a wide range of delicious dishes. The food comes highly recommended although booking is advisable as opening times may vary. A Call & Collect service is also available if your preference is to stay in. The Tyglyn Vale Parkland Estate makes a perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful Heritage Coastline of Ceredigion. Just four miles from the property is the Georgian coastal town of Aberaeron with its brightly painted Georgian architecture; New Quay, famous for its dolphins and dolphin spotting trips lies just 8 miles away; and the wonderful rugged coastline of Llangrannog is also within an easy drive. A little farther along the coast lies Tresaith, where the river cascades onto the beach before meeting the sea. Here you can eat beach-side at the Ship Inn whilst looking out to sea. Some 20 miles distant lies Aberystwyth, famous for its norrow gauge railway, which runs through the beautiful valley of Cwm Rheidol (once the home of silver and lead mines), with trains running up to Devil’s Bridge with its spectacular waterfalls and woodland gorge. Aberystwyth is also a popular destination and offers various water sports. More
