Holiday Rental House
Lovingly restored stone cottage with original features of high wood beamed ceilings, ceramic floors, and where the caves are still in use today. The home has original Tuscan antiques and furnishings, but all with a modern flair. This is not a traditional holiday home as it was designed for the owner to live in, and is furnished with every attention to detail. The house is ideally located in a hilltop village offering spectacular scenery, the chesnut hills and valley views and stunning mountain peaks surround you. Peaceful, tranquil, and ideal for kicking back and relaxing. The home sleeps up to six people, with the additional option of an apartment in the village, that can sleep another three, and this is offered free of charge when booked together with Casa Michele. Wonderful authentic Tuscan cottage with amazing views of the mountains from the terrace. Plenty of places to visit - Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre. Roads very windy and narrow around the property, but you get used to them. Perfect if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday.

About the neighbourhood
The town of Fivizzano is a short fifteen minute drive away and offers everything you need to make your stay an enjoyable one. Supermarkets, locally made breads and desserts, wines, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. There is a large and well appointed hospital, doctors, dentists, pharmacy, and a wonderful open air market every Tuesday morning selling clothing, household goods, foods of the area, shoes, children's toys and clothing. A great atmosphere and wonderful people watching in the two bars in the village square, which house the outdoor market - a must see. A small but lovely spa town Equi Terme offering great cures in their thermal waters, spa treatments, or plain lazing around one of their two large swimming pools is a great day out. There is a book full of information in the prope...
How to get there
Ideal from the UK and the US as flights arrive either Pisa or Genova, both just over an hour's drive from the property, or Milan airport a two and a half hour drive, or Bergamot (Milan) with Easy Jet. All of the above airports are serviced by British Airways, RyanAir, Easy Jet and Delta Airlines. Cars can also be rented from these locations and a car is recommended in Tuscany.
