For walkers there are lovely walks at the JFK Arboretum/Forest Park, Tintern Abbey, Carraigbyrne Hill, along the Coastal Path, and riverside/canal walks at Inistioge and St. Mullins. Horse riding is available locally, as are visitor farms and quad biking, and there is a popular angling lake and pitch and putt nearby, and there are lots of beautiful gardens to visit, the closest being Kilmokea Gardens.
The Viking towns of Wexford, Waterford and Kilkenny are within 40 Km (25 miles) of Warren Farm, each of which has a long and varied history and each offering a wide variety local crafts, including Waterford Crystal and Kilkenny Design Workshops, with architecture, art, shops and foods reflecting the various Norse, Norman and English influences absorbed over many centuries.
Many guests take day trips across the river by car ferry and continuing on to explore the fabulous Waterford coastline to Cork, perhaps visiting the Titanic Experience at Cobh, Fota Island Wildlife park or Jameson Whiskey Distillery. Other wonderful day trips can include the Comeragh Mountains, The Rock of Cashel and Lismore Castle in the neighbouring county of Tipperary.
Dublin and Cork are 2 hours away and Shannon Airport is 3+ hours driving, using the much-improved road network of recent years.
Horseshoe Cottage is located in a larger delightful courtyard garden at Warren Farm which is shared with Doyle's Cottage, Dairy Cottage and Coach House. We have been careful to give each cottage its own private area.
Located in a beautiful gardens setting with lovely views of the rich, rolling farmland beyond, the cottages at Warren Farm provide a perfect base for exploring the treasures of the South East of Ireland!

Stayed in this lovely cottage for one week. It's a bright, comfortable and spacious cottage. Everything you could need was provided. Patricia and Bernie were fantastic hosts, both providing a warm welcome. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you.

Beautiful Cottage and location.
We stayed in Horseshoe cottage for one week and we thoroughly enjoyed it, the cottage was very clean and comfortable, it has everything you need to make your holiday great, the place was bigger than i thought it would be and the secluded yard was very private for outside dinning, lovely surroundings and it is only minutes away from shops and restaurants etc, a great central position for traveling to different sight seeing places i.e Wexford, Waterford Jfk homestead, i recommend this cottage to anyone thinking of a holiday in this area, cant fault it at all.

Very enjoyable stay
We are just back from a week in Doyle's Cottage in Warren Farm, The cottage is lovely, old fashioned, cosy and extremely well equipped. The gardens in Warren Farm are beautiful and the patio/garden of Doyle's Cottage is a gorgeous sun trap - really nice for sitting out. The location of the cottage is great too - it's isolated and peaceful but close enough to everything you need and all the local attractions. Patricia is a great host, very helpful, she provided lots of information for us. We had our two young kids with us and they loved the cottage and particularly loved playing in the gardens, We had a really enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing stay in this cottage. The website has many beautiful photos of the cottages (www.warrenfarmireland.com) and they look fab but are even more beautiful in reality!

Perfect Home Away From Home!
We spent a week in Horseshoe Cottage in January 2015. Lovely cottage in a perfect setting! Everything exactly how is looks in the pictures. Cottage well appointed, close to town for groceries and perfectly situated to visit many historical and tourist attractions. It was so comfortable to come home after a day of visiting abbeys or castles and just relax. I traveled with my husband and ten year old daughter. We had plenty of space and were very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again should we visited SE Ireland again!

FANTASTIC COTTAGES
We spent a total of 17 days staying at the Dairy and then the Granary. Cottages were well equipped, settings very private, decorated just beautiful.
Patricia and Roger could not have been nicer. If you need anything they will make sure they will get it or help in someway.
Our only problem is WHICH of the beautiful cottages to pick the next time. There are 3 more we need to try.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful seeting
This was a lovely warm cottage with all modern conveniences. The owners were friendly and helpful without being obtrusive.
There was all required shops within a short drive, but a car would be essential.
The cottage does not feel isolated, but it did feel private.
The local amenities such as JFK arbotoreum were a lovely relaxing way to spend some time.
