Nestled for hundreds of years among the ash and sycamore trees at the foot of Coolcross Hill, Rashenny, this peaceful setting surrounds you with panoramic views of Trawbreaga Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Yet its only minutes to the beaches, hill walking and golfing.
This fully restored 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage lets you live in an authentic Irish thatched Cottage, but with all the modern conveniences we are all used to. Including Electric car charging.

Our cottage and surroundings were made to the standards of earlier times. You may encounter features that reflect particular character but that deserve due care and attention, particularly by the young, elderly, less mobile or visually impaired. Examples of these are low doorways, uneven surfaces, low ceilings and beams, unexpected drops or changes in level, dry stone walls, narrow and high bathtub and by modern standards low or absent lighting. The cottage is not suited to everyone.

How to get there
Due to the remoteness of the cottage, arriving by car is essential, as this will allow you to explore all that Inishowen has to offer. Arriving to Dublin Airport or traveling from the east coast we suggest putting the destination into google maps and adding Belfast a stop (don't need to stop). This will give you the quickest route to the cottage along motorways and dual carriageways for the vast majority of the journey. It essentially means following the M1 out off Dublin area towards Belfast and then from Belfast follow the M2 signs for Derry/Londonderry.
