About the neighbourhood
Uluwatu has changed a lot over the years, but it's still one of the best places in Bali (and the world). It has retained its small-town, traditional atmosphere. The locals are very proud, but still super friendly and accommodating. And the surf is world-class all year round.

The infamous break, the ‘cave’ and beach of ‘Uluwatu’ (known to the locals as pantai Suluban) is a 5-minute walk away and down some steps - where there are numerous cafes and local shops. You can find taxi services and scooter and car hire to explore nearby communities such as Padang-Padang beach and Bingin, as well as the many surf breaks located along the coastline.

Local Dining. Land’s End Café is only 30 meters from the front gate. It is a popular spot for healthy breakfasts, lunch, coffee & smoo...

Ask taxi drivers to take you to Uluwatu Temple. At the temple turn right onto road Jalan Pantai Suluban, follow this road for 5-minutes. YOU ARE HERE when you reach Jalan Batu Karan. Near by landmarks are Land’s End Café, the Gong and Ulu Resto.

Uluwatu is located about 45 minutes from Bali’s International Airport. Note that journey times can vary due to traffic conditions.
