Welcome to La Vardaf 3 - our home is your home.

For years we have dreamed of coming back to a beautiful, airy home after a day's skiing instead of the cramped and dark quarters typical of many French apartments. Now that we have achieved that we would like to invite you to share the pleasure with us.

From the hotel quality beds made up with pure Egyptian cotton sheets to the double sized bath with gallons of hot water, to the boot warmer gently preparing your boots for the day ahead, little luxuries set apart La Vardaf 3, but at an affordable price.

The main beds in each bedroom can be set up as a large double or twin beds. There is a large single/small double sofabed in the second bedroom. A put-me-up bed and cot is available on request.

Interaction with guests
After paying the balance amount, guests receive an information pack with details of the property and suggestions for activities in the surrounding areas. About a week before their stay guests will be informed of a code for the keybox located outside the door of the apartment so they can let themselves in on arrival. On departure, guests leave the key in the same keybox. Guests will have the contact number of the local property manager in case of emergencies during their stay. Guests are welcome to contact the owner prior to or during their stay for local information and suggestions.

We were two couples staying in the flat whilst skiing around the Portes du Soleil. The flat is only around 15mins walk into Morzine town, with a free bus stop just a couple of minutes down the road if you're carrying equipment (although we used lockers in town for €10/day). Montriond is a couple of minutes in the other direction...

This lovely chalet was just perfect for our family ski holiday. We were extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Quality bed linens and kitchen appliances were very much appreciated and made this a wonderful, relaxing home to go back to after a great day skiing. About the neighbourhood
Morzine - Heart of the Portes du Soleil

La Vardaf 3 is located in Montriond, the quiet and sunny side of the Morzine valley. Morzine is the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area which offers 201 ski lifts servicing 650km of piste and countless possibilities for off-piste adventure. The pistes and terrain are varied in their difficulty, offering ideal routes for everybody from absolute beginner to extreme powder hound. In the summer the action doesn't stop - it just changes to biking, rafting, parascending, rock climbing, walking, sun-bathing and sampling the excellent local food and wines. This is a playground on an epic scale that you can choose to use or choose to watch.
Getting around
La Vardaf is an easy 400m walk to the centre of Montriond village or 1500m walk to the centre of Morzine - close enough to reach, far enough away to be very quiet. The shuttle bus stops 250m from La Vardaf and takes around 10mins to reach the Ardent lift or less than 5mins to the centre of Morzine.
A car will make reaching the local sights easier, especially in summer, but is not necessary.
