Surrounded by nature and quietly tucked away in St Lawrence Undercliff, close to Ventnor on the South side of the Isle of Wight. Built circa 1855 and formerly part of the Twinings Tea Family Estate, this 2 bed, rather special semi-detached, once Estate Managers cottage, has recently been lovingly restored back to its original condition, with the gardens being designed and planted by the current owners to match the period of the cottage. Though a few thoughtful modern touches have been sympathetically added for additional enjoyment and comfort.

Ventnor has a butchers, fishery, greengrocer, 2 x chemists, Spar with cash point, Tesco Extra with cash point and a co-op. The nearest petrol station is in Whitwell. Nearby attractions including the popular Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Steephill Cove and the Victorian sea side town of Ventnor, with its many boutique shops, Artisan café’s and restaurants. Take a walk along Ventnor Esplanade, enjoy an ice-cream and take a paddle in the glistening English Channel from Ventnor Bay.

The cottage is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with stunning coastal scenery which offers a varied choice for walkers, cyclists and other outdoor pursuits. Take a picnic to the peaceful, wild and stunning Rocken End where you will find fossils galore among the fallen rocks.

A Car would be best, but there are buses that will take you into Ryde or Newport to the main bus terminals for connections across the island.

From Whitwell High Street, continue onto Ventnor Road passing the White Horse Inn on your right and Whitwell Garage on your left. Then continue onto Whitwell Road, As Whitwell road bends round to the right, for the shortest route, turn right down St Lawrence Shute (this is a narrow and steep road) Continue down St Lawrence Shute, over the small bridge, at the junction, continue forward onto Seven Sisters Road. Turn left down Spindlers Road (Severn Sisters Road sign is opposite the turning) Continue down Spindlers Road to the end, passing the Post Office on your left. Turn right then left onto Old Park Road. *
