We will be really happy to give you some ideas on what to do and where: there are many possible activities in Pointe Noire and in Guadeloupe: scuba diving, hiking, visiting rum distilleries, etc... or simply relaxing in one of the beaches.

About the neighbourhood
There are many beaches all along the coast: Petite Anse, Grande Anse, Leroux, Malendure, etc. Pointe Noire is well situated to go to the beaches on the north side or the ones on the south side. To see tropical fishes and coral, the best place is Malendure, but Petite Anse, at 3mn by car from us has also a beautiful marine life.
There are many tracks for those who like walking in the forest, on the Route des Mamelles, but also at 5mn walk distance.
Pointe Noire offers a lot of activities: The house of Cocoa, the vanilla plantation Fety, the flying bikes in L'Habitation Cote Sous Le Vent, etc...
