No. 11 is a spacious annex attached to our detached country home on the edge of the pretty village of Aynho, known as The Apricot Village. Situated on the very edge of the village, the house overlooks the playing field with a tennis court and running track and country walks close by. A bright sunny conservatory is adjacent to the bedroom and contains a fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle for breakfast and afternoon tea. We are convenient for The Great Barn, Aynhoe Park House and Bo Peep Farm weddings and events and offer flexible check in for convenience. We are happy to accommodate well behaved dogs as well. Continental breakfast included.

We stayed at this lovely B&B for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at the Great Barn which is situated just about a mile or so down the road so is very convenient. The accommodation is immaculate and Kay is a fantastic host, even driving us to the wedding venue! Everything for a breakfast was provided and it...

Management response:

Thank you for your lovely review, you were most thoughtful tidy guests and are welcome back any time.

Comfortable, spacious B&B with a difference. Large ensuite bedroom with sofa and an attached conservatory for relaxing and having breakfast. Kay and family were very friendly but not intrusive. Ideal for our short stay visiting family in the area. Scrabble the dog was a bonus.

Management response:

Thank you Lynne, a pleasure to host you both. Hope to see you again sometime.

About the neighbourhood
We live in a pretty village often known as the gateway to the Cotswolds. We are situated within walking distance of Aynhoe Park House and about 3 minutes drive to The Great Barn/A Day in the Country. Silverstone, Blenheim and Bicester Village are all about 20 minutes drive away. The local Cartwright Hotel offers restaurant facilities along with The Great Western Arms (about 3 minutes drive) and good eateries in almost every surrounding village. Please note there is no shop in the village but a Co-op in nearby Croughton and Sainsburys in Banbury (15 mins).
Getting around
If arriving from London then bicester village station is easiest. Taxis outside to Aynho. M40 junction 10 then follow signs to Silverstone and Aynho. Nearest airport is Birmingham or Luton.
Car advised
How to get there
Airport: Birmingham: 60.0 km
Railway: Bicester: 8.0 km
Its easiest to reach us by car but the nearest rail station with taxi's are Bicester Village or Banbury, both approx 7 miles away. If arriving by car then on arrival in Portway we are the very last house at the end of the road. Turn into the driveway and park on the right hand side. The annex door is nearest to you.
