Peacefully situated on the fringe of the picturesque village of Fulbourn, it is conveniently located just five miles from the historic City of Cambridge and less than an hour from the heart of London.

We meet all our guests on arrival and will show you around in order that you know the basic fundamentals and can quickly settle in and start to enjoy your stay. One important note: This website (for reasons that still baffle us) does not have an option to show 'Twin Singles'. So the bed configuration is as follows: Master bedroom - Super king Bedroom 2 - Double bed Bedroom 3 - Double bed Bedroom 4 - Twin singles Bedroom 5 - Twin singles We can also supply an extra bed (£30 each) in two of the bedrooms, providing sleeping accommodation for a maximum of 12 people. About the neighbourhood
Just a short drive or bus ride away, Cambridge has a beautifully preserved city centre including the world renowned University college buildings, perhaps the most famous of which is Kings' College from whose magnificent Chapel the Christmas Eve carol service is broadcast each year.
Historically an important market town, there is still a daily market selling produce and everyday items as well as souvenirs, and quality crafts at the weekend. There are, of course, many familiar high street stores and designer names but also a choice of independent boutiques and gift shops to browse. Also a cultural centre, with theatres, art galleries, museums and cinemas.

London Stansted international airport is an easy half an hour by car, and receives daily flights from all over the world. Car hire can be arranged from the airport through various rental companies or there are excellent coach and rail links to Cambridge. The other London airports - Heathrow, Gatwick or London City - are all still within two hours drive, and between them serve virtually any origin airport. Approx 15 minute car journey from Cambridge to Beechwood House in Fulbourn. Taxis readily available from the rail station and city centre.
