Completed in 2007 and sitting in its own grounds, it provides spacious quality 4 bedroom accommodation for up to 8 adults and a baby. <BR><BR>With wonderful views from balcony and the decking to the Marina/sea loch and the mountains on the Island of Jura, this provides an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. Five minutes walk from the cottage are two great eating places/pub from which to sample the delightful Argyll sea food (scallops, langoustines etc) or beef and lamb. Stunning accommodation in a stunning location. Great place to stay with lovely views and lots of places to explore within the area. Very accommodating and knowledgeable host

We stayed at Stonefield cottage for the first week of Easter holidays and had a great time. Plenty of space for us, three kids and their grandparents plus a spaniel. The location was perfect and we really liked the fact that there was plenty to do in the area without venturing out to Oban. In fact, we were so glad...

Stronefield is well equipped and comfortably furnished.<BR><BR>The house contains all modern conveniences including satellite TV, wifi, automatic clothes washer/drier, dishwasher etc. Sleeping accommodation comes in the form of 3 twin and one double bedroom. There are 2 shower and/or bathrooms. <BR><BR>Upstairs there is a large lounge (containing a wood burning stove) which has access to a balcony with excellent views. <BR><BR>Bed linen, towels, electricity included in price. BBQ and garden furniture provided.

Ardfern is about 16 miles north of Lochgilphead and 20 miles south of Oban on the A816. <BR><BR>It can be reached in about two hours drive from Glasgow by following the A83 towards Campbeltown (past the beautiful Loch Lomond, Loch Fyne and Inverary). <BR><BR>Once you reach Lochgilphead, follow the signs to Oban (turn right at the roundabout at the far end of the sea front at Lochgilphead).
