Holiday Rental House
Torr Beatha (Gaelic for 'Full of Life') is an oasis of calm, a modern, spacious and easily managed house set in a tranquil and secluded garden in the village of Kincraig, 6 miles south of Aviemore, an area with boundless activities on offer. [Kincraig is a hidden gem, a traditional Scottish village lying slightly off the main Kingussie - Aviemore road, in an idyllic setting close to Loch Insh.] Fun for families, small groups and couples (and well-behaved dogs!)...Torr Beatha (Gaelic for 'Full of Life') is an oasis of calm, a modern, spacious and easily managed house set in a tranquil and secluded garden in the village of Kincraig, 6 miles south of Aviemore, an area with boundless activities on offer. The house and location were spot on for us, what a lovely community. A great base to explore the Highlands. Highland Wildlife Park, Loch Insh and Aviemore just down the road. We will be back!

The property is situated in a quiet cul de sac, but not far from the A9 and only a short drive to the centre of the Cairngorms. We spent the week walking in our favourite area of Scotland and every evening relaxing back at base,...More

We liked this house and location so much last year that we returned this year. The house is cosy and comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed for a family of five plus dog. The kids could walk down to Loch Insh without crossing...More

About the neighbourhood
The Speyside area is a useful take off point for wider sightseeing: the wonderful gardens at Inverewe in the north west are possibly in a day, as is Fort George in Inverness, and an overnight visit to Orkney from John O'Groats may be an option. Inverness has a cinema and the Eden Court theatre - both quite accessible for an evening.
How to get there
Kincraig lies off the A9 from Perth to Inverness. Cut off the A9 immediately after Kingussie if approaching from the south, or at Aviemore from the north, taking the B9152 to Kincraig. Turn into Kincraig at the War Memorial and go down the Brae, taking the first road on the right (Dunachton Road) opposite the Ossian Hotel. The first road you come to on the left is Woodisde and the first house on the left is Torr Beatha.
