About the neighbourhood
Pag Island is located under the Velebit mountain, thanks to which it receives the influx of fresh and clean continental air. The length of the coast is 270km which is over 4 times more than the length of the island which makes it one of the most coastally developed islands in Croatia. Its surface area is 286.6km2.The Island of Pag is also known as one of the sunniest islands in the Adriatic Sea with more than 2,500 hours of sunshine annually. How to get there
the island of Pag is privileged when it comes to transportation which means it can be accessed: over the bridge from the south and the inland (highway to Posedarje and road through Ražanac to Pag) by ferry – from the direction of Rijeka and Senj (ferry port Prizna – Žigljan). The ferry rides non-stop during the summer. It is also possible to arrive by catamaran which sails daily from Rijeka to Novalja. The nearest boat and airplane lines are in Zadar.
