Super elements such as all necessary equipment to use in the kitchen.
Friendly hosts Ian and Hellie, who were on site to help with any questions or advise and to give any needed assitance.
Lovely location, with wonderful wildlife in the imedate surrounding area. Being situated at the far end of the complex has its extra benefits if you enjoy natural beauty. There is a hill to climb and a steep hill leading from the entrance road, However if the hill seems too challenging you can walk along the flat ground at the back of all the challes, this leads you to the local bar, cafe, shop. And we only discovered the flat walk on the last but 2 days prior to leaving.
The Hills are doable and for people who love a challenge or seek the adventure walk, this place is for you.
Public transport is few and far between. If you don't drive , as we don't, your closest train station is Lamphey. From freshwater is takes approx 30mins on foot. Take care to walk the right way (chapel lane...

Now let me tell you about Freshwater bay, you need to go there for a holiday or a weekend,as a day will just not be long enough. Ian and Hellie (the owners of Numb 143) are the perfect hosts. They are working hard at the moment bringing the chalet up to date. It is very clean and was the perfect place to stay and explore the local area which is just stunning.
If you are lucky you might even get a invite to Ian's BBQ.
You won't go far wrong staying here but my only warning to you is

IF YOU COME HERE ONCE YOU WILL COME BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN

About the neighbourhood
Visit Manobier, Carew and the massive Pembroke with Tudor dynasty links. There's also the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace at St David's.

Do you have a boat? No problem there's 26 miles of sheltered waterway on the Milford Haven for boating, water skiing, fishing and just plain fun, and you can also launch your boat from the slip in Freshwater Bay, just a stones throw away from the Chalet.

Green activities are well catered for as we live in or are surrounded by the Pembrokeshire National Park and you can even go off shore to the island and watch the seals!
