Interaction with guests
On arrival you can expect to find a welcome pack with tea, coffee and maybe a few extras! There is also a book explaining the house, the local area and a wealth of leaflets and books to help you choose where to visit.

Guests enjoy the total seclusion which the cottage offers, but with the knowledge that our neighbours are usually on hand to help out if you should have any difficulties. Many guests take advantage of their hospitality and have reported borrowing bikes and canoes while for some, the highlight of their stay was when their children were given rides on the horse!

We enjoyed our week. Great location for ease of getting about. The house was spacious and homely for us being 5 adults and 2 children. We spent most of the time on Freshwater East Beach, which we parked at the top of cliffs and walked down. Liked the badminton net and children loved the trampoline . David answered any queries...

We have stayed here twice and both times have thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The property is lovely, and the garden is truly fantasitc (I have never stayed anywhere before where you can go on zip wires!). Great place to stay and great location. Would stay tgere again and reccomebd it. Only issue was they hadnt cleaned the place as disnt realise we had booked but all in all lovely place

About the neighbourhood
The cottage is in a small, secluded hamlet containing about six houses and cottages, surrounded by farmland. The clifftop, the coastal path and huge sandy beach of Freshwater East are just a short walk away, making this an ideal base for you to visit the rest of the Pembrokeshire Coast where you can head to quiet, sandy coves or the bustling seaside towns of Tenby, Saundersfoot and more - all just twenty minutes away.

Alternatively, this part of Pembrokeshire offers theme parks, wildlife parks, and more castles than you could possibly visit in a week! All these attractions are within twenty minutes of the cottage.
Getting around
The roads in Pembrokeshire and excellent and uncongested. Even Tenby, by far the busiest and most popular destination in the county, offers enough parking even in the height of Summer.

As an alternative, why not park in nearby Lamphey for free and take the bus or train? There are regular services to Pembroke, Tenby and beyond. Tenby station is just five minutes from the town centre and seven minutes from the beach.

Most travellers come to Pembrokeshire via the fast and convenient M4 motorway. Whilst this property enjoys a secluded position in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it lies just 20 minutes from the end of the dual carriageway near Tenby, making it one of the easier parts of Pembrokeshire to reach. And on arrival you will find no shortage of safe and easy parking right in front of the entrance - ideal if you have lots of luggage!
Having a car in this area is useful, but buses and trains serve the nearby village of Lamphey, while the proximity to the beach and cliff path means you can leave the car behind and enjoy some spectacular walking.
