This cosy 2 bedroom apartment built in the early 1900's will sleep up to 6 people with ease and is situated in the middle of the town minutes from shops.pubs and restaurants.The apartment is 1mile from the famous Innerleithen downhill mountain bike track and many other forestry tracks. We are also just 3 miles from the popular Glentress mountain bike centre. Being situated in the heart of Scottish Borders you have easy access to hill walking,salmon and trout fishing and is only 1 hour from Edinburgh. This a nice, orderly and well equipped flat just off the main street, and very close to great mountain biking routes. Alex and Susan were friendly and kind enough to accommodate us at very short notice.

Great apartment for a weekends biking. Bike wash facilities and secure storage. Owners couldn't be more helpful. Recommended

This house was the first stop of our 2 weeks road trip in Scotland and we thought it was a great idea to begin our scotish experience here ! Our hosts were great and they gave us precious advices for visiting this area.

About the neighbourhood
Innerleithen is in the heart of the Scottish Borders close to Peebles 15min. Galashiels,Selkirk and Melrose 30min, Hawick and Kelso 1hr and also 1hr from Edinburgh. Innerleithen is also in the heart of mountain bike country 10min from Glentress Forest and 5min from the famous Innerleithen downhill run. There are also many forest roads ideal for biking within minutes of the town. The town sits on the river Tweed with some great Salmon,Trout and Grayling fishing.
Getting around
There is a good bus service through the town every 30min which you can access all the towns mentioned above, also a train station in Galashiels with regular sevices to Edinburgh.
