The smallholding of some 21 acres is located in the Brendon hills, four miles north of Wiveliscombe, on the South East corner of Exmoor. The lodge is situated on a hill in a very quiet location with good views to the south over farm land.
The lodge has two double or twin bedded rooms with en-suite bathrooms with a spacious kitchen/lounge diner located in between. It has a high quality internal specification with an air source heat pump and underfloor heating providing the heating. The farm has a bridleway passing through its fields linking it to the footpaths and bridleways across the Brendon hills and Exmoor.

The location is very peaceful and in a spectacular position high in Exmoor with good walking straight from the door. Warm cottage and warm welcome. Very well equipped cottage with lots of room.

We have just returned from a week's holiday here. It is all of a high standard, very clean and peaceful. It is so rural that there is no wi-fi and precious little phone signal (EE or Orange seems to work best), but as you're there on holiday that really doesn't matter. From Taunton take the A358 signposted Minehead. After about 7 miles turn left on the B3224 to Wheddon Cross.(Turning is on a right hand bend in the road so turning is hidden from view until last moment.) After another 6 miles you will come to a crossroads at which you have to stop. Go straight across ; up the hill. When you reach the very top of the hill you need to go one mile further when you will see a very narrow lane, a sharp left turn signposted Clatworthy / Wiveliscombe.
