The Granary is an immaculately refurbished cottage set in the secure courtyard of Dovehouse Farm, which is a Grade II listed estate dating back to the 14th century, located in wonderful countryside just outside the village of Shustoke in North Warwickshire. Luxuriously appointed, the accommodation downstairs includes an open plan kitchen (including washing machine and dishwasher) and dining area, separate sitting area with TV/DVD, cloakroom and shower room with toilet. Only 6miles to the NEC. Quiet location. Old Building Charm but with all Mod Cons. Comfy Bed. Would highly recommend staying here.

My husband and 3 children rented the Granary and were very happy staying for the 5 nights, the accommodation was perfect in that is was clean, decor was up to date but we still had the feel of the wonderful cottage charm. Ken met us...More

Thanks for the review: so pleased you liked the cottage. Some Sat Nav systems do seem to pin-point our postcode a few hundred yards along Shawbury Lane, which can be misleading

We wanted a quiet, relaxed, comfortable hideaway for Christmas in the countryside but not far from an assortment of villages. That is exactly what we got. The cottage was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the cottage was spacious for four (or even five)...More

Shustoke is an ancient village in Warwickshire, recorded in The Great Survey of 1086 (Domesday Book) as “Scotescote.” The parish registers are some of the earliest in the country, dating from the reign of Henry VIII, and include entries in the handwriting of Sir William Dugdale, who was born on Shawbury Lane and is widely regarded as the country’s first and greatest antiquarian. Today, Shustoke retains its village character, in a quiet and beautiful rural setting close to Coton Lakes and Ladywalk Nature Reserve as well as other areas of natural interest off the beaten track.

From M6, leave at junction 4… From the motorway junction roundabout, take the A446 (Stonebridge Road) towards Coleshill. Stay on the A446 until it crosses the B4114 at a roundabout just outside Coleshill. Take the third exit at this roundabout, heading into Coleshill on the B4114 “Birmingham Road”. Continue straight on at the crossroads in Coleshill, where you will see a pub on the right as you approach, and where the B4114 then becomes “Blyth Road.” Continue on the B4114, and you will come past Shustoke reservoir signed on your left as you come into Shustoke.
