We can offer 3 x self-contained one-bedroomed cottages, (Amberley, Cissbury & Chanctonbury), available throughout the year. Close to Brighton and Gatwick, we are perfectly situated at the edge of the small and picturesque downland historic town of Steyning. There is direct access onto the Downs Link. The footpath for riverside walks is just on the corner, and the beautiful South Downs Way passes through the town. Each of our cottages have been individually decorated and have underfloor heating. We also have secure bike storage & dry room if necessary. Friendly dogs are also welcome. We also have a travel cot which can be set-up for you on request. Lovely place to stay. Jed & Vanessa made us very welcome. Accommodation clean tidy and everything needed was supplied. Ideal for taking the dog as walks are within a short distance. Would definitely return.

About the neighbourhood
Steyning has a long history, and has existed since Anglo-Saxon times. Just wandering along the streets and lanes you will see stunning examples of architecture from the Medieval to the Georgian period. The local Grammar School is over 400 years old, and although it has since expanded, the original buildings are still in use. The fascinating Steyning Museum is free and open all year round - it's well worth a visit. There are four pubs (with three serving food) and several more restaurants and cafes, and the High Street is predominantly made up of interesting, independent retailers. There is a small Co-op supermarket, but most of your day to day needs can be met by our local fruit and veg shop, butchers and fishmonger. Getting around
You can appreciate a great deal of what's on offer on foot, whether that be enjoying the great countryside or relaxing in the charming village. Having use of a car will obviously open up more of the Sussex attractions that are well worth a visit, national trust, beaches, Brighton etc. We are only a 10 minute drive from Shoreham train station and are happy to collect/drop you there if you're coming by train.
