Stayed at the Nook for 2 nights. 5 adults and a 3 year old child. Took advantage of the summerhouse as another bedroom and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our time there. Very quaint and loved the real beams throughout Would definitely come again

Thanks for your review Angela, dont worry all the hiccups in the house will be dealt with. The works across the road can be noisy but dont think it detracts too much when you are in the house, they should be comlpleted soon. Best wishes,...More

Bedale is a thriving market town on the edge of the Dales within minutes of the A1. It has all the amenities required for your holiday; pubs, restaurants, shops selling necessities and indulgences. There is a park with an excellent playground, next to a golf club which welcomes non members.There is also a car boot sale most weekends Nearby attractions include the beautiful Aysgarth Falls, historic Middleham Castle, the impressive Abbeys of Jervaulx and Rievaulx and the enchanted Forbidden Forest. Along with other beautiful villages such as Hawes and Masham, Bedale is at the heart of the stunning Yorkshire Dales. From Bedale you can take a trip on the Wensleydale Railway and enjoy the beautiful Dales from a different angle.
How to get there
Take Junction 51 off the A1M, follow the signs to Bedale, the cottage is approximately a 10 min drive. The nearest national train station is Northallerton, 9 miles away. A regular bus service run through Bedale. The nearest airport is Durham Tees Valley Airport, 16 miles way.
