A spacious 3 bedroom detached house in the very picturesque village of Lower Slaughter which is popular with walkers with the River Eye running through the centre of the village. The house would be a perfect base for visiting the many nearby attractions the Cotswolds have to offer, including Stow-on-the Wold and Bourton-on-the Water., Stow for its ancient market square full of quaint shops and Bourton for being the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' with its many bridges, shops, tea rooms, pubs and attractions including Birdland, The Model Village, Motor Museum and perfumery. Lower Slaughter is popular with walkers and cyclists and there are many bridle paths and footpaths to local villages.
Two popular short walks across the fields are to Upper Slaughter or Bourton-on-the Water, both walks take about 15 minutes.
For the more energetic there are numerous opportunities to go further afield.
In the village itself there are the Manor Hotel and Washbourne Court Cotswold pub, both within 200 metres of the house.
